The problem we came to solve

An incubator publishing public numbers — companies, funding, graduates — in an environment where every number is doubted. What was needed was not «believe us», but «check for yourselves».

  • Every public number cryptographically signed and sealed in a hash chain
  • Verification running in the visitor's browser through WebCrypto — not through our server
  • Arabic first in direction, typography and numerals, with English as a layer above it
  • Content baked into the page source, readable before any JavaScript runs

What we decided — and why

Don't trust us — verify us

Public numbers are sealed in a hash chain and the public key is published. The verification page runs three checks in the visitor's browser: the hash matches, the signature is valid, the key is published.

Server-side rendering

The content is baked into the page source, so the visitor — and the search engine — reads before any JavaScript runs. JavaScript adds the verification; it does not carry the content.

Arabic first

Direction, typography and numerals are Arabic by origin, with English as a layer above — not the other way round. WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility across the platform.

A React platform with server-side rendering, an Ed25519 signature on every public number, and verification in the browser through WebCrypto. Trust never passes through us.
