Awalim Academyengineering taught the way it is practised

The challengeالتحدّي

The problem we came to solve

Video series get watched and forgotten. An engineer learns by writing real code, having it reviewed line by line, and resubmitting — exactly as in a real team. The platform had to force that, not merely allow it.

  • A full track built around one project delivered at the end
  • Code review written on the trainee's own code
  • Tests from day one, before the feature
  • A published deliverable for the professional portfolio

Approachالمقاربة

What we decided — and why

01

A track around one project

Every trainee builds one product across the whole track instead of scattered exercises that are forgotten. The platform tracks the project, not the lessons.

02

Code review, not a model answer

Written notes on the trainee's own code, then a resubmission — as it goes in a real team. There is no «model solution», because real solutions are many.

03

The team comes from here

Training is not a revenue line — it is how we build the team we later hire, and how we keep our engineering standards alive. A large part of the Awalim team today came from the Academy.

What was actually delivered

A web platform where tracks are run as projects: a repository per trainee, written code reviews, and tests run on every submission. Four engineering tracks, each ending in a published product.
