The challengeالتحدّي

The problem we came to solve

A humanitarian platform that has to stay accessible, secure and trusted while serving donors and people in need across different countries — under hard operating conditions.

  • It carries donations from people outside Gaza to people inside it through electronic payment channels
  • Donors in many countries, so an outage means aid stops, not just a bug
  • The team needs tools for daily work, not only a page for visitors
  • An Arabic and English interface

Approachالمقاربة

What we decided — and why

01

End-to-end technical ownership

Technical architecture, UX, front-end, technical SEO, security and daily operations under one owner.

02

Tools for the team

Beneficiary records, feedback channels, donor reporting and operational workflows — what the team needs to work every day.

03

Continuity after the attack

After a major cyberattack, access was restored for donors across several countries, with stronger technical resilience, transparency and rapid response. We don't publish incident details, to protect the platform.

04

An audit that reads, not writes

In October 2026 the team's management received an audit report covering a month of changes. It was read-only — nothing changed on the site or database — and donor data appears only as counts and totals, with no names.

Solutionالحل

What was delivered

A bilingual web platform built with React on Cloudflare, with per-page titles and descriptions set by the server and security headers enabled — plus daily operations, recovery after the attack, and change audits that never touch the data.
